January is recognized as National Human Trafficking Prevention Month.
Northside Hospital is proud to partner with Covenant House Georgia in support of young people experiencing homelessness and those escaping human trafficking across Atlanta and surrounding communities.
For more than 25 years, Covenant House Georgia has provided housing and comprehensive, trauma-informed supportive services to youth ages 16-24. Grounded in unconditional love, respect and a commitment to safety and dignity, CHGA helps young people move from crisis to independence through housing stability, education, workforce development and long-term support.
“Northside Hospital has been a sustaining partner of Covenant House Georgia since 2013, supporting our mission through in-kind donations, event sponsorships and hands-on volunteerism,” said Teah Bussell, philanthropy officer for corporate, foundation and community giving at Covenant House Georgia. “Because of partners like Northside, we are able to reach more than one-third of the youth experiencing homelessness in our community each year. We are grateful for this continued partnership and honored to be highlighted together during Human Trafficking Prevention Month.”

As a community-focused health care system, Northside Hospital recognizes that stable housing, safety and access to supportive services are critical to long-term health and well-being. Through its partnership with Covenant House Georgia, Northside continues its commitment to improving lives and strengthening the communities it serves.
